The Apple event in April 2020 reinforced just how good the iPhone 12 is. While not releasing a new model, Apple introduced new colors and maintained the price of iPhone in Singapore and across different markets. It remains a high-performance smartphone with excellent cameras and a flawless OS. If you are long due for an upgrade, you should consider getting an iPhone 12 and you cannot go wrong with either version of it.

There Are 4 iPhone 12 Variants to Choose From!

Numerically speaking, the iPhone 12 represents the 14th generation of iPhones. The entire lineup consists of 4 variations which are the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The price of an iPhone in Singapore depends on which one you pick and how much internal storage you want for it. For the sake of relevancy, the prices for each of them will be the ones listed by Apple for the Singapore market.

For the Mini, the price starts at S$1,148 for the 64 GB version. There is also a 128 GB one and a 256 GB iPhone 12 Mini. The top of the line is the model with 256 GB of internal memory and 4 GB of RAM which sells for S$1,389.

Next in line is the standard iPhone 12 which has a bigger 6.1-inch display. It is available in the same color options and starts at S$1,299 for the 64 GB version. You can get it with 128 GB of internal memory and the most expensive one, the 256 GB version with 4 GB of RAM can be purchased for S$1,539.

Looking at the iPhone 12 Pro, things look almost the same from the outside except the presence of an extra camera on the back. Pricing starts at S$1,649 for the 128 GB version, with no option to get it in 64 GB. The most expensive is the 512 GB model which sells for S$2,149.

The star of this generation is the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It is the most expensive out of the bunch. It has a larger 6.7-inch screen and starts at S$1,799 for the 128 GB version. Again, there is no option to get it with 64 GB of internal storage. The one with 512 GB of internal storage is priced at S$2,299.

Which One Should You Get?

It starts with your budget. You cannot go wrong with either of them as they have the same hardware. All 4 iPhones have the Apple A14 SoC which has proved to be extremely powerful. RAM is limited to 4 GB for the Mini and standard version while the Pro and Pro Max get 6 GB. The price of an iPhone in Singapore varies depending on what storage option you pick and you can get good deals from carriers.

What you should pay attention to is what configuration you are getting. For example, it may be worth spending a bit extra to get the Pro Max with 128 GB rather than to get the iPhone 12 with 256 GB. You get a bigger screen and 50% more RAM. It all depends on what screen size you want and how much storage you think you need.
