Rumor: Sony paid for the absence of Resident Evil Village in Game Pass and other subscription services. Presumably, this agreement between Sony and Capcom was posted on Twitter and it contains a clause that it is impossible to release Resident Evil Village on subscription services within one year after the release of the game.

In addition, the agreement contains a clause on the inadmissibility of the release of DLC on other platforms, if these DLC will not be released first on the PlayStation. The document also includes a clause on the release of an exclusive demo version on the Sony platform.
