When Does Naruto Become Friends With The Nine-Tails?

Now, this event happened in episode number 329 of this series. The title of this episode was Two Man Team. Naruto became friends with Kurama or The Nine Tails Fox after the Fourth Shinobi World War. At first, the friendship between Kurama and Naruto seemed odd to each other. 

However, Naruto Uzumaki continued to impress Kurama through so many years with help of his skills and compassion. On the other hand, Naruto helped Son Goku, the Four Tail beast during the Fourth Great Shinobi War by eliminating the rods.

The rods were put in him by Madara. That is why Goku gave him a portion of his chakra as a reward when he went to fight against Uchiha.

Kurama came to know all of these events. He then realized that Naruto was filled with the compassion of Rikudo Sennin or the Sage of Six Paths. So, Kurama saw him as a reincarnation. Only after this specific event, Kurama becomes friends with Naruto and offers his chakra and first two bumps. 

After that, Naruto breaks the seal that is kept upon the Nine Tails. Kuama then is no longer called the Nine Tails Fox. He was known by his proper name, Kurama.
