Most modern games that have a competitive scene also have a casual version of the fun for you to enjoy. While this can seem a little hollow compared to playing for ranking points, many people find that they are able to let their hair down when they use modes like this. Games like Overwatch have the perfect balance with their casual modes. Competitive is always the same, but an array of modes that are far more relaxed are available for those who simply want to dip their toes in. Most games have elements like this, though you may have to compromise on the game modes that you play to get the most out of it.

While playing casual modes will work for some, others will prefer the chance to enjoy competitive game modes without the risk of losing their score when they just want to have fun. One way to do this is to create an account yourself, though you could also look at buying one from someone else. This can be great when you don’t have the time to invest in a fresh character but still want to be able to enjoy the game you’re playing without risking your position in competitive play.
Competitive gaming will always be a great way to enjoy your passion for digital games. Sometimes, though, it can be nice to take a backseat and simply enjoy the game you’re playing for what it is.
