OSRS offers many quest rewards that are worth completing for.
One of the biggest parts of Old School Runescape is questing. There are many for you to take part in, whether you have a free to play account or full membership. Asides from them taking us on some great adventures, they also conjure up some great rewards as well. This isn’t just limited to the likes of OSRS GP or XP either, as we can get hour hands on a number of rewards that will help us progress on our journey. With that being said, the following items are some of the best you can get from questing.
Crystal Shield
If you are planning on taking a tanking approach to Old School Runescape, then the Crystal Shield is a great item to be rewarded with. The reason for this is the +80 defences bonus that you get from it makes it one of the best OSRS shields in the game for defence bonuses. When considering the melee bonuses that it comes with, it makes the Crystal Shield an item that you definitely want to pursue.
However, if you are going to be able to wield this Crystal shield, then you will have to meet several requirements first. For starters, you will be required to have your agility skill up to level 50, and your defence up to 70. The Roving Elves quest must also have been completed if you’re going to use the shield. As time goes on, the shield begins to degrade, and you have to charge it up with the use of Crystal Shards.
Helm of Neitiznot
The Helm of Neitiznot provides one of the best in slot helmets that OSRS has to offer. You need to complete a certain quest for this, and it can be purchased again as one of many OSRS items for sale for 50,000 OSRS GP.
This helm becomes available after completing the Fremennik Isles quest. It has +3 bonuses in both melee strength and prayer, and has good melee defence as well. Perhaps the most important stat is the melee strength bonus, since it will be able to bump up the max hit that you can perform. To obtain it, talk to Mawnis Burowgar on the island of Neitiznot after you’ve finished the Fremennik Isles quest.
Ava’s Accumulator
This is considered to be one of the best OSRS items you can get as a quest reward, especially if you are using ranged weapons. The role of the Accumulator is to get back any ammunition that you have used from a ranged weapon, as long as it isn’t broken already. It also has a range attack bonus of +4, and isn’t held back by any negative stats either.
To obtain the Accumulator, you will need to firstly finish the Animal Magnetism quest. You range level must also be at level 50 so that you can equip it. As you advance through the game, you will also have the opportunity to upgrade it so that it’s the best in slot range cape. To get the item initially, you can talk to Ava after the quest is completed in Draynor Manor.
Barrows Gloves
It will come as very little surprise that the Barrows Gloves appear on a list of best quest rewards. In fact, many players will even go to the lengths of finding OSRS gold for sale, so that they can get their hands into these Barrows Gloves as quickly as possible.
That being said, they are a reward for one of the longest quests in the game. It is a fitting reward when you look at how long the quest actually takes. To even be able to start Recipe for Disaster, you’ll need a total of 175 quest points.
What is it that makes the Barrows Gloves special? These Barrows gloves have great attacking and defensive bonuses that go with them. You’re looking at 12+ bonuses in all of these areas, as well as +6 magic bonus and +12 melee strength bonus. To get these Barrows gloves yourself, as mentioned you will have to complete Recipe for Disaster. Once you have done that, you can purchase them with OSRS gold in the basement of Lumbridge Castle from the Culinaromancer’s Chest.
